Second and Final Phase

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to send 2 billion Sudanese Pounds—the equivalent of $850 CAD—to Al Fashir Takaya, which provides vital aid to people who have been displaced by the recent invasion, crimes against humanity, and ethnic cleansing carried out by the Janjaweed militia in their town. In both Al Fashir and Bara, there have been alarming reports of ethnic cleansing and widespread crimes against humanity.
In addition, your donations allowed us to send another 2 billion Sudanese Pounds (also $850 CAD) to Al‑Obaid Takya, supporting those displaced from the states of Kurdufan and cities like Bara after the Janjaweed militia’s invasion.
Your help is making a real difference for those in urgent need of relief and safety. Thank you for standing with these communities during this critical time.
First Phase
Thank you for your generous support. During Phase One, we successfully collected and distributed a total of $3,000 CAD to seven charitable kitchens and IDP locations in Sudan, with each site receiving approximately $428.

The Sudanese Canadian League of Hamilton is organizing a fundraising campaign to support Charitable Kitchens (Takaya) in Sudan, aiming to raise $20,000. This initiative provides warm, nutritious meals to families affected by war and hardship. Every donation goes directly to preparing and delivering food, bringing comfort and hope to children, mothers, and elders. Supporters are encouraged to donate, volunteer, and share to help fight hunger and restore dignity to those in need.
